This Spring Summer 2019 we have been lucky enough to collaborate with Botanist and Galapagos Conservationist, Sarah Darwin PHD (Charles Darwin’s Great Great Granddaughter!).
You will have seen our Darwin’s Florals Shirt across our social media channels or in one of our stores (Brighton & Shoreditch). Every sale of this shirt raises funds for the Galapagos Conservation Trust, with 10% from each one sold going to this charitable organisation.
This limited edition mens floral shirt has been designed by Gresham Blake and Sarah Darwin. A key piece in our Spring Summer 2019 collection.
It features botanical illustrations (the original paintings by Sarah Darwin are water colours) which were created for Nigel Sitwell’s field guide ‘Galapagos: A Guide to the Animals and Plants’.
If you would like to see these limited edition prints in person, we have them on display in our Brighton store.
Sarah first visited the Galapagos Islands in 1995 (to prepare the illustrations which feature on our Darwin’s Florals Shirt). Sarah is still heavily involved in the Conservation of the islands as an Ambassador for the Galapagos Conservation Trust.
The Galapagos Conservation Trust works to promote the conservation of endangered species found on Darwin’s enchanted isles. The trust supports, develops and promotes projects that achieve measurable conservation, sustainable living, and protection of the environment of Galapagos.
So go on, contribute to a great cause in the most stylish way possible and purchase a Darwin’s Florals Shirt today.
If you would like a bespoke Darwin’s Floral shirt, this is also possible. Just book in for a bespoke consultation with one of our tailors in Brighton or Shoreditch.
